Two gestures run the whole app
Tap or left-click → do the default (dial, open, view).
Long-press (phone) or right-click (computer) → open the menu of options. This is where most of the power lives.

No tag means it works everywhere. New marks what arrived in 1.5.10 through 1.5.12. Everything you do writes back into TouchPoint, so the record stays complete without a second step.
Hidden gems most people miss
Right-click / long-press is a menu. Tapping alone skips the call-app picker, Copy, and group tools.
Open an email and the sender is already loaded. No searching in Gmail or Outlook.
Phone numbers copy as raw digits that paste clean into any dialer or form.
Family is one tap away, and you can email a whole household at once.
Tap Show brief before a visit for a short summary of the person. iPhone only
Say “Hey Siri, Ask TP Go” on the way and keep asking questions by voice. iPhone only
Notes date themselves to today and land on the TouchPoint timeline correctly.
Pick your calling app per call without changing any system setting.
Find someone
Search by name, phone number, or email in the search box.
Sender auto-detect. Open any email in Gmail or Outlook and TPxi Go already shows who it is. Computer only
Home & Recents. Jump straight back to people you just looked at. Phone only
Activity also lists people you asked Siri about, marked “Asked Siri”. iPhone only
Read the contact card
Everything on one card: photo, member status, campus, age, phones, email, address, and birthday. New
Two addresses when it matters. If someone lives apart from their family, you see both, the second labeled as the family’s. New
Family & related families. Tap any member to jump to their card.
Involvements grouped by ministry type, plus recent activity, notes, status flags, emergency contact, and custom fields.
Your own card now shows your open tasks. iPhone only
Tip: you decide which of these appear. See Make it yours.
Call & text
Tap a number to dial your default.
Open the picker (long-press / right-click) for: Call with System, Call with Teams, Vonage on iPhone if installed, Copy Number, and Send Text.
Teams calling toggle. Turn it on in Settings and every tap dials through Teams.
Emergency contact is one tap to call.
Copy anything
Copy a phone, email, or address from the picker. Phones copy as raw digits so they paste clean anywhere.
Tap an address to open it in Maps, or press and hold to copy it.
Addresses and email links open in a new tab, so you never lose the page you were reading. Computer onlyNew
Save a contact
Tap the green Save button to drop the person into your own Contacts, prefilled with name, phones, email, and address.
Long-press Save to choose which fields to share as a contact card over AirDrop, text, or email. Phone only
On a computer, Save downloads a .vcf you open into Apple, Google, or Outlook contacts. Computer only
Reach a whole group
Email several people at once. Use the group option on a phone, or right-click the email row on a computer. Family is pulled into the picker.
Every send is logged back to each person, so the history stays complete.
Text a group from your phone in one thread. On a computer, texting stays one person at a time. Phone only
Briefs and Siri iPhone onlyNew in 1.5.12
Get a quick summary of someone before you walk in, and ask about them by voice while you drive. Siri knows the app as TP Go.
On the contact card
Show brief gives a short summary: who they are, their family and related families, the groups they belong to and lead, open tasks, and what recent notes say.
Read aloud plays the brief so you can listen.
Ask box below the brief lets you type a question about them.
Start with Siri
“Hey Siri, brief me in TP Go”Siri asks who, reads their brief, then asks if there is anything else.“Hey Siri, Ask TP Go”Give a name, then ask what you want to know.“Hey Siri, search TP Go”Look someone up and open their card.“Hey Siri, call in TP Go”Place a call. It is logged to TouchPoint.“Hey Siri, add a note in TP Go”Siri asks who the note is about.“Hey Siri, add a task in TP Go”Start a new task.
Then keep talking
Ask a question: “Who are her kids?”, “What’s his address?”, “When did someone last talk to her?”, “Does anyone in the family have allergies?”
Do something: “Call her”, “Text him saying I’m running late”, “Email her”, “Get directions”, “Open her profile”, “Add a note”. Calls, texts, and emails are logged just like the buttons in the app.
Move to someone else: “Switch to Denise”. Family members are matched first.
Not sure what to say? Ask “What can I ask?” for examples.
Finished? Say “that’s all”. Say “cancel” or “never mind” when Siri asks who to stop.
What you need: iOS 26 and an iPhone with Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or newer). The brief is written on the iPhone itself, nothing about the person is sent anywhere, and it only uses what you can already see in TouchPoint. Emergency and medical details come only when you ask and follow the same permission as the card.
On Android: voice works through Google Assistant today. Phones that have moved to Gemini can’t use it yet.
Log it back to TouchPoint
Log a call, email, or text so the visit or conversation lives in TouchPoint, not in your head.
Add a Note with keyword tags. The event date is set to today automatically.
Inbound or outbound? Log either direction in one tap.
Nothing to remember: group emails, saved contacts, and calls started through Siri log on their own.
Tasks & follow-up
Create a task and assign it to yourself or someone else.
Accept, decline, or complete tasks assigned to you.
My Tasks gives you the whole list in one place, filtered by status. Each row shows who the task is about, like “about Michelle Fithian”. New
Flag for follow-up with one tap, then open your Flagged list anytime.
Make it yours (Settings)
Show or hide any field on the card: photo, age, campus, phones, family, involvements, notes, flags, custom fields, and more.
Pick your email app for composing: Gmail, Outlook, or system default.
Toggle Teams calling, the log buttons, My Tasks, and person tasks to match how you work.
What’s New. After an update, Settings shows a badge. Tap it to see what changed. iPhone onlyNew
Caller ID in one tap. The Enable Caller ID banner has a Turn On button that opens the right iPhone setting. iPhone onlyNew
Signing in New
Use your TouchPoint username, not your email address. On iPhone, the app tells you if you try an email.
Signed out? If your access is removed or runs out, the app says so and opens the sign-in screen with your church address filled in. Just enter your password.
Sign-in log. Settings keeps a short record of your last few attempts with a button to copy it. Send it to us if you can’t get in. No password is kept. iPhone only
For your TP Go admin: the TP Go dashboard sets how long a sign-in lasts, and can turn Briefs and Ask off for your church.
